Bible Gateway - Its "simple yet advanced searching capabilities allow you to quickly find and compare particular passages in multiple Bible translations based on the keywords, phrases, topics, or Scripture references you have in mind. ...  The original multilingual searchable Bible website, Bible Gateway was started in 1993 by Nick Hengeveld, a student at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI."  It is now part of Zondervan and HarperCollins publishing.  While there are a great number of translations included, the New American Bible (revised or not) is not included.  There are also devotionals and blog article available.  The newest iteration may require registration to take advantage of all the features.

Blue Letter Bible

Blue Letter Bible - "Blue Letter Bible provides powerful tools for an in-depth study of God's Word through our free online reference library, with study tools that are grounded in the historical, conservative Christian faith." Comes out of a general Evangelical perspective. Has a variety of word-study tools, including interlinear, concordances, etc. Does not have the NAB-RE available.

Topographical Maps of the Ancient World

Ancient World Mapping Center - On this page you will find hosted a series of freely available maps that, just as before, are available for free educational use  and also can be licensed for publication at nominal cost. These maps are organized according to rough geographic regions.

Archaeological Survey of Israel - The sites documented in the Archaeological Survey of Israel are published on the website where they are displayed in survey squares of 100 sq km (10 × 10 km). The list of maps is presented below in alphabetic order, according to their names and numbers as recorded in Yalquá¹­ Ha-Pirsumim. The survey maps can be seen on the right side of the screen against the background of an aerial photograph. The sites (marked with yellow dots) can be accessed by zooming in on the screen and a description of them will appear by clicking on the dots. The introduction to each map and search options are also displayed.

Antiquity A La Carte - The Antiquity À-la-carte application is a web-based GIS interface and interactive digital atlas of the ancient world, featuring accurate historical, cultural, and geographical data produced by the AWMC in addition to the entire Pleiades Project feature set. The map is completely searchable with customizable features, allowing for the creation of any map covering Archaic Greece to Late Antiquity and beyond. AWMC welcomes feedback from community members on the experience of using the application and welcomes suggestions and comments.
